The Club HOA, September 22nd 2020

Board members in attendance: Nathan Peters, Lani Perkins, Zach Burgess

Maintenance

  • Wind storm update
  • Overall, The Club fared very well during the storm
  • The large blue spruce at the front of the building (north side) died from the wind storm. We’ve scheduled for this to be removed late October (currently scheduled for the 21st).
  • We’re not expecting to replace it.
  • Lobby doors—the doors will not lock during a power outage.
  • The Board is exploring a few options to address building access issues during outages:
  • Ability to use a generator to power the garage doors, lobby doors, and key fob entries during outages.
  • Action Locksmith has the ability to develop a proprietary key (that cannot be duplicated) that could open our exterior entry and stairwell doors—we’ll check if we could upgrade these locks and distribute these keys to owners.

Security

  • Pyracantha bushes—we received an estimate and 36 bushes would cost approximately $1,600-$2,000.
  • We will need to order them in the spring—due to wildfires in the west, growers are not able to ship them at this time.
  • We are ordering the work for a motion sensor to be installed in the northwest corner of the parking area.

Lobby Remodel

  • We will work on developing a timeline for the project
  • We can proceed with painting first and will be in touch with Moore Brothers

The next monthly HOA meeting will be Tuesday, October at 20th 4pm, conducted over Zoom.
