Minutes for The Club monthly Board Meeting

Board members in attendance: JH, JM, JG, and SD.

 

  1. Completed:
  2. Shawn, and SD worked together to adjust the closure time on the south garage door.
  3. Firetrol winterized the fire sprinkler lines.
  4. Shawn closed the gap between the northwest building exterior, and the retaining wall for security reasons.

 

  1. Topics discussed:
  2. Security. Building access for visitors, couriers, etc. should only be granted by utilizing the keypad-to-phone feature, or physically opening the lobby door for them, rather than giving them the security code.
  3. Recycling. The Board discussed options to inspire volunteerism due to the lack of it.
  4. Parcel packages. The Board opted to drop the idea of installing a separate parcel lockbox due to lack of viable placement, space, and security. Residents are encouraged to explore alternatives such as requesting delivery to unit door, office, or pickup, if concerned about package theft. This will also help to minimize clutter in front of the mailboxes.
  5. Hot water heater air lock issue caused by new water meter installation: The Board voted against using HOA funds to pay for individual residents’ service calls, and repairs. This vote was the result of CC&R rules, and precedent.

 

  1. Future maintenance and to-do items:
  2. Tree trimming in front of the building, and courtyard, is scheduled for February 5, at 9:00 a.m.
  3. SD will contact the city to see if there is a better day than Monday for curbside recycling pickup.
  4. Meeting was adjourned.
