Minutes for The Club monthly Board Meeting

Board members in attendance: JH, JM, JG, and SD.

 

  1. Maintenance and other items completed:
  2. The burned out light bulbs in the overflow parking lot were replaced.
  3. The revised House Rules have been distributed.

 

  1. Topics discussed:
  2. Continuing challenges with the blue recycling cans. Already twice this month, one of the cans contained inappropriate items (wood furniture the first time, glass bottles the second); consequently, it was not dumped.
  3. On this same topic, SD received an email from one of the owners voicing concern about overflowing recycling cans, which results in debris blown around the neighborhood and cans tipping over on windy days. Residents are asked to hold recycling items until the next turn, if all the cans are already full.
  4. SD presented a rough draft of Amendment to Amended and Restated Declaration provided by Kimble Law. The Amendment is in regards to rentals.
  5. SD on-going attempt to renegotiate the $8600 Firetrol bill.

 

  1. Future maintenance and to-do items:
  2. The blue recycling cans will be washed in April.
  3. SD will replace the bulbs for the dual floodlights mounted on the northeast exterior brick wall by 1/31/17.
  4. The board has requested the installation of a dead bolt lock for the office door in the lobby. SD will coordinate this, and should be complete by the end of February.
  5. Meeting was adjourned.

 

Special Mention:  Thanks to JS, #207, for decorating our lobby this past holiday season. It looked beautiful, and her effort is appreciated.
