The Club HOA, April 30th, 2019

Board members in attendance: Jo Anne Hook, Lani Perkins, Nathan Peters

The Board would like to thank residents who have helped take out and return recycling bins—it’s very appreciated!

Non-Smoking Proposal

  • 70% of votes thus far are in favor of transitioning to non-smoking
  • We are following up with the remaining owners who have yet to respond

Security

  • We’ve coordinated with the property manager for the building immediately south of The Club—they have updated their landscaping that adjoins our property, and have hired a service to regularly clean their property
  • We’ve continued escalating concerns with the buildings to our north, managed by Paradigm Properties
  • The property manager has been unresponsive thus far
  • Currently pending response from SLC Civil Code Enforcement on cleanliness and security concerns
  • The fencing for the southwest corner of the parking area has been ordered

Building Maintenance

  • Moore Brothers will be giving us a bid to paint the garage and adjoining hallways
  • The fountain is back in business—best $44 we’ve spent on maintenance
  • Upgrading lobby paint and flooring is still on our radar—should have an update next month
  • Exterior of windows will be cleaned end of May/early June

 

Budget

  • The Board reviewed the HOA Profit and Loss through March 2019
  • As mentioned during the Annual Meeting, the charges for upgraded fencing are included in Q1 2019 expenses

Other

  • Friendly reminder, please ensure your balconies are clean. Please keep in mind that dirt/water should not be discarded/swept where it will impact other units.
  • Ensure that any construction debris from your unit is cleaned up—we’ve seen a recent increase in debris in the hallways and common areas.
  • The Board voted to add Lani Perkins as an authorized signer to the bank account.

 

The next monthly HOA meeting will occur, Tuesday, May 28th, in The Club lobby at 5pm.
